Characteristics

  • ColorMatic 2K Spray Putty is perfect for filling pores and other imperfections as well as rough sanding scratches at the same time
  • Compared to conventional putties, it lets you continue with your work quickly
  • For use on bare steel, on old paint layers and glass-reinforced plastic
  • Not for use on thermoplastic acrylates
  • ColorMatic 2K spray putty can be diluted up to 5% with a nitro thinner. The dry film will become more flexible

Usage instructions

Before use, carefully read and follow the instructions on the packaging.

  1. Remove rust and sand the surface
  2. The surface should be clean, dry, free of grease
  3. Take the required amount of material from the pack and mix thoroughly with the appropriate hardener
  4. Apply with a spray gun only
  5. Spraying several layers is possible without sanding in between
  6. Spray pressure: 2-4 bars
  7. Use a 1,8 - 2,5 mm spraygun nozzle
  8. Clean equipment immediately after use, wash putty off with nitro thinner if necessary
  9. Do not put the mixture back in the tin
  10. Before applying the top coat, paint with a 2K primer (e.g. ColorMatic 2K Hi-Speed Primer Filler Art. No. 190315) to avoid blisters
